How can you truly love?
Love like God?
Let’s look at what God thinks about all of this. Does He have an opinion on it that affects you, and can help you daily? Oh yes.
1 Corinthians 13
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal."
Quite strong language here. Effectively if my life is some wonder because of me, in my eyes only, or makes people gasp at the money I have, but I do not have love, I am just making noise. It just does not matter. Pointless nonsense.
One thing that keeps coming up in my walk with God is the need to look at the world from His perspective.
God’s perspective is what you were created for.
God is Love and His plan is a match for your spirit, soul and body and likely where you are in your life now
Meaning He knows precisely what you need for where you are, to help you know Him and really live the life Christ died for you to have 24 hours a day.
You really do have to be very careful as your life can literally pass you by or you continue to struggle with things, because you do not understand this key point.
Effectively you could have all the power in the world...imagine that? Rule the whole earth and own all the money, but if you do not align your life with God you are wasting your time. Eternally even.
Why?
100 years on earth and you die and lose your soul forever. Insane right?
Why would anyone in their right mind do that? Because they do not know any better.
Why would you not know? Because you do not know God or study His word. Work, TV, relationships etc are in the way.
How to resolve and how can this help you?
a. You must pray and let God change you.
b. Do not live this life as if there is no eternity.
c. The cost of that is unimaginable to think about. Pray.
Be consistent with God
“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing”
Most people struggle with loving and even being loved.
a. You only care about yourself.
b. Your own needs dominate.
c. Your own desires are your world.
One can say oh everyone else does that. Really? No.
The Christian walk with God is selfless and puts other people first. Humility, meekness and kindness are some of the central aspects of the Christian walk.
Summary
There are many things God has done and does daily for each of us to help us know Him better.
He spends all day and night trying to get your attention. Yes He loves us that much.
He also has time in His hands but still the decision to spend that much time waiting for us, is an astonishing show of God’s love and gives some idea as to why He sent Christ to die for each of us. Quite a thought.
God is love. Literally. He is. Seems crazy? So does having the power to spin planets everyday on a scale that is just beyond what we can imagine from day to day.
So this God loves us and we would not return that love? Why?
Lack of knowledge. That is one of the reasons why the Bible says “my people perish because of a lack of knowledge.“ Effectively what you don’t know is costing you that which you cannot pay, but must very dearly.
What you do not know really can cost you eternity.

Lord God thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and change our world's as much as we have let you.
Be God as much as you can, day by day and moment by moment in the lives of everyone reading this.
Help us daily be the person Jesus Christ suffered and died for us to be.
Help us have the strength needed with the Holy spirit, daily leading us to know you better and let you change our lives and everyone else around us each, with your daily endless power.
Thank you for another day with you Lord God.
May everyone reading this have everyday lived in your wonderful Love and live it precisely as Christ suffered and died for us to live, from today onwards.
